From the little town of Chieti, atop the mountain of the Abruzzo region comes the Olivicola Casolana. The groves are located inside the Maiella National Park. The altitude, the special soil characteristics and the warm sunshine of Abruzzo, all help create that special micro-climate to ensure ideal fruit ripening and obtain oil and table olives of very high nutritional and sensory qualities.

This pariticular olive oil is produced in limited quatities each year.  At the end of the milling season, a small batch of olives are reserved and crushed with real lemons, resulting in a natural lemon flavoured olive oil.  A perfect combination!

Olives Varieties: Gentile di Chieti, Leccino, Cucco, Intosso, Croccalegno.
Characteristics: Max acidity 0.5, green color with golden reflections. Fresh fruity flavour with characteristic bitter and pungent taste. Clear oil but it is the typical aspect of this non-filtered olive oil.
