This Dominus olive oil won the Alcuza prize for the best EVOO in 2006 and 2000 from the Sierra Mágina D.O., and came in second for the 2003-2004 season. As published in the article "Los Mejores Virgen Extra Españoles" ("The Best Spanish Extra Virgins" Restauradores, edition 18, February, 2004). The tasting panel of the magazine describes it as "deep yellow and olive green. In its enveloping aromas of young fruit, touches of fig leaf, tomato plant, and fresh grass are notable. It is very smooth on the palate, with distinct character, full-bodied, and a balanced bitter tang and fresh finish."
